Eve O'Brien | Holy Confident Birth
You Can Birth With Holy Confidence
You want to birth naturally. You believe God designed your body to do this.
But the more you research, the more isolated you feel.
Mainstream birth classes strip birth of its mystery.
And the “natural” ones talk about the “divine”… but never the Divine Person.
Catholic spaces stay quiet about natural birth.
Natural birth spaces stay quiet about Jesus.
You’re stuck between worlds—
and you’re done settling for birth prep that makes you choose between trusting your body…
and trusting your God.
Bio: Hi, I’m Eve!
My journey into this work began in 2017 when I changed my college major with the dream of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. The first birth I witnessed during nursing school left me in awe—I was immediately hooked, and I knew from that moment that birth was going to be my thing.
Fast forward to 2021, I landed my dream job at one of the largest women’s hospitals in the country. With over 11,000 deliveries a year, I saw just about everything, and I learned so much. But I also started to notice how disconnected birth had become from what it was meant to be—normal, natural, and unhurried.
After several months working as a nurse, I gave birth to my first daughter. It was nothing like I expected—better than I could have imagined—and it completely changed me.
That experience sparked something deep in my heart, and I knew I wanted to help other women find the same kind of confidence, peace, and joy in their births.
Since then, I’ve worked as an L&D nurse in a hospital, supported moms as a doula, created a birth education course, and given birth a second time (this time at home).
I’ve also worked alongside out-of-hospital midwives as an assistant, and have seen firsthand how different birth can look depending on where you are and who’s supporting you.
I believe birth is sacred—a moment designed by God for us to lean into our femininity, listen to our bodies, and surrender to the process. I also believe that mothers are the ultimate experts when it comes to their babies and their births. My job is simply to help you tap into that innate wisdom and feel supported as you make decisions that honor your intuition.
When I’m not supporting other women through birth, you'll probably find me baby-wearing while sipping a latte, baking sourdough, and listening to worship music.
If you’re feeling called to have a birth experience that’s peaceful, empowering, and centered on what matters most, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
you were made for this, my friend...
Let’s make it everything it’s meant to be.
