Reviews

My baby had a severe tongue and lip tie that needed to be revised but due to Covid, couldn’t get them revised until she was almost 3 months old. I was nursing her the first 4 weeks of her life and she couldn’t pull enough milk due to the ties, resulting in weight gain issues. So then I exclusively pumped for months 2 and 3. We finally got her ties revised and was referred to Andrea to help baby girl learn how to use her tongue. After a handful of visits with Andrea and lots of homework and exercises later, baby girl is nursing like a champ. Truly life changing in this moment. My baby absolutely loved Andrea and was always so smiley. Such a great experience and I am so thankful!

Working with Andrea has been an absolute joy and blessing to our little family. I came to her frustrated and hopeless, not knowing why my 6 month old baby was having so many feeding issues. She was able to quickly diagnose and make a plan where other medical professionals had just shrugged, saying, “I don’t know.” With her therapy and guidance we are eating better, sleeping better, moving better and over all enjoying life more! Our now 9 month old is now a thriving, busy little baby! I highly recommend her services if you have ANY feeding, speech or movement issues and especially if you’ve have unanswered questions by other therapists/doctors. We plan on using Andrea for any future feeding or speech problems that might arise and will have any of our future babies checked by her ASAP.

My daughter was born prematurely and, even after coming home from five weeks in the NICU, continued to present us with feeding challenges we had never faced with our older two children. At one point, she refused to take a bottle at all despite having done so before discharge from the hospital and was only slowly gaining weight. It was such a stressful time, I feel like I’ve blocked much of that season out of my memory but the ONE thing I remember distinctly was the first time we walked into Andrea’s office and felt truly understood. Andrea took the time to get to know our daughter and her story and, importantly, took into account the significance of the family system... we had been through a shared trauma those five weeks in the NICU and our poor daughter, especially, had so much residual tension in her body that it was affecting her eating! (She had a condition which required heel pricks 2-8 times per day for all five weeks.) Andrea utilized a combination of oral motor techniques, Tummy Time Method, and craniosacral therapy to help our sweet girl make significant strides towards her goals, something that we had not seen happen before. Within a relatively short time, she was nursing better and taking her practice bottles again without difficulty. Andrea brought so much to our family but I think the greatest gift she gave us was her ministry of presence. She comes in as someone who is clearly knowledgeable and experienced... but also feeling. She looks at the whole picture and we will forever be grateful for her work with our daughter (and with us!) during the most difficult season of our parenting journey thus far.
