Bio: Sarnia Inspires helps moms feel strong, confident, and energized before and after baby. She offers easy-to-follow workouts, core and pelvic floor programs, movement for birth programs, and fun challenges that fit into busy mom life. Through workshops, classes, progressive workout programs, and a supportive community, she helps moms reconnect with their bodies, rebuild strength, and feel their best during pregnancy and postpartum.
Sarnia Inspires have been providing fitness and coaching to pregnant and postpartum women since 2021. Sarnia has been working in the fitness and wellness industry for over a decade. She works with women at all stages of pregnancy and postpartum, including those navigating pelvic floor concerns, core weakness, and the physical and emotional challenges of the early motherhood period.
Sarnia Inspires offers both virtual and in-person services, primarily in the North Houston and The Woodlands area.
Sarnia Inspires’ programs combine education and movement to help moms and expecting moms feel confident in their bodies and enjoy motherhood fully. “Prior to training with Sarnia, I struggled with leakage while coughing and sneezing, and pelvic floor weakness in general. Through intentional breathing coupled with pelvic floor exercises, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in this—no more leaks!
Also, though I would consider myself “strong”, I have always been inflexible and had poor balance. I didn’t realize how this negatively affected my strength training until working with Sarnia. Improved balance, core strength and flexibility has given me increased energy levels and decreased downtime post EVERYTHING, from workouts to work, to running after the kiddos. “Before Sarnia’s training program I did not have a good understanding of the pelvic floor or the core and how to activate them. I didn’t even know that was possible or necessary. I didn’t know that I needed to engage my core every time I picked up my children. Now I have all that knowledge and I feel strength in my core and other muscles. I don’t feel pain in my back after picking up my 40 lb child and carrying him up and down the stairs everyday, because I use the breath work and my core every time. This program has given me the confidence I need to work on my body and get out of my comfort zone. I feel more excited about exercising now because I know my body can handle the exercises that Sarnia showed me. I feel ready to get back into tennis which I haven’t played in years.”
